Did Adam Have a Belly Button?

An interesting debate!

Calling All Followers!

If you want to become a follower, please e-mail me with your name, age, gender and a photo of your belly button, for inclusion in the Belly Button Gallery (coming soon).

Here's an interesting thought!

I found this on the Wikipedia site on the page for the entry "Umbilicus":

The word "navel", or its equivalent in other languages, has been used sometimes for the center for something, e.g. "nave" for the hub of a wheel.

Intriguing...deep.

Facts on Navel Lint

Unlike a lot of belief systems out there, we have scientific research to found our claims on.

Due to the overwhelming response from readers interested in more facts about belly button lint, follow the link for ABC science's facts from the Great Belly Button Lint Survey.

Inspiration from the Button

Link

A perfect example of life originating from the source, the button. That the seed found all the conditions needed to germinate in this most holy of places is, indeed, the miracle of life, and, I might add, the focus of our beliefs.

Well done, Stephan M. of Montreal.

The First Prophet of the Brethren

This man, Graham Barker, I hereby pronounce to be the First Prophet of the Brethren of the Button.

Navel lint: the theory, the philosopy of our cause. Many a wise man studies it to find wisdom; answers to the mystery. Often it is cleared out, to see the wonder of the navel in all its glory. Many times the question has been asked: Where does it come from? What does it mean? The answer, my friends, is open for discussion.

Is it there to serve as a buffer between ourselves and the Almighty navel? Should it be removed? Indeed, for maybe we are not yet ready to experience the splendor of the shining one?

Questions like these, my friends may one day be answered by our Prophet. This man has dedicated his life's work to the collection and study of his lint in order to find the asnwers that elude us.

Types of Followers

There are two types of followers of the Brethren - the "Innies" and the "Outies". The Innies are the inner circle, the preists as it were. The Outies are the servants - they tend to the Innies and make sure that they have everything they need to perform their dutes.

Both groups are equally as important - one cannot exist without the other.

Which are you?

Welcome

Welcome to the Brethen of the Button.

We are a group that believes that all power stems from the umbilicus, or "belly button".

When you are growing in your mother's womb, is it not the umbilical cord, via the umbilicus, that feeds you the source of your very life? Your nutrients, fluids, antibodies, and removes poisonous wastes. And then once you are born, it seemingly has no other purpose. I put it to you that the umbilicus is an untapped source of power.
